Étienne Bergeron

Associate Director, Macro Strategy

Étienne is an economist by training and currently serves as Associate Director, Macro Strategy, at iAGAM. In this role, he conducts research at the intersection of macroeconomics and financial markets, contributing to portfolio strategy development and strategic asset allocation.

Prior to joining iA, he worked at PSP Investments and spent several years at the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer in Ottawa, where he specialized in the economic and fiscal policy analysis.

Étienne holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Université Laval. Bilingual, he combines strong analytical rigor with experience in both the public and financial sectors.
