Jean-René has nearly 20 years of experience in portfolio management, investment team management, and business development. As the leader of iAGAM’s Fundamental and Quantitative Equity team, his role is to create a distinctive investment culture and provide robust investment processes that allow investment professionals to capture opportunities and perform in today’s challenging markets. Prior to joining iA in 2021, Jean-René held a variety of portfolio management and senior leadership roles at the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) and Hexavest. He began his career as a research associate in investment banking. Jean-René holds a Master in finance from Sherbrooke University and is a CFA charterholder.
